Hello, I’m Kate and I’m the proud owner of Lucky Penny Weddings – exquisite vintage wedding cars for hire!
Based in Hitchin in Hertfordshire, we are happy to provide our chauffeur-driven vintage wedding transport anywhere within a 50-mile round trip from home. Which means we can cover not just all of Hertfordshire, but also large parts of Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Our vintage wedding cars are a wonderful way to add a touch of class to your wedding day, turning heads as you travel to and from your wedding and providing lasting memories – as well as a stunning backdrop for your photos!
Penny
“Penny” is our vintage 1966 split-screen, cream coloured VW Microbus.
She is beautifully appointed inside and out just for wedding parties and can be decorated to match your chosen colour scheme.
Seating up to seven people (plus the driver) space is the key, with room to carry the bride – and dress! – unruffled and in comfort and style.
Or you can use her to transport your bridesmaids and VIP guests to the reception. The choice is yours.
The Jaguar
The Jaguar is one of our most beautiful classic cars for weddings.
Arriving at your wedding in the chauffer-driven comfort and luxury – not to mention beauty! – of this stunning Jag is guaranteed to put a big smile on the groom’s face, as well as provide the ride of a lifetime! What better way to make the best day of your life even more special?
Whether booking the car for yourself, or as a surprise gift from the Bride or Best Man, this Jaguar classic car will provide that definite Wow factor!
The Stag
With a white and chrome gleam, The stag is an unforgettable dream machine. Add a touch of ‘70s glamour and style to your big day with this sophisticated car.
Boasting Italian design, a beautiful pale blue interior, room for three guests along with your chauffer you are guaranteed to arrive in style.
For those glorious summer weddings enjoy an open top experience and make memories that last a lifetime.
The Beetle
When romance is in the air, what better way to travel to your wedding than in Doug the bug? Our classic VW beetle captures the charm of a bygone era and provides an unforgettable way to arrive on your big day.
Doug seats two along with the chauffer, coordinate him with flower garlands, interior decorations, and ribbons to match your colour scheme and enjoy the complimentary goodie basket while you cruise along in style. Doug is the perfect companion to Penny!

Pick Your Pair
You can hire either Penny or friends: The Jag, The Triumph Stag or The Beetle on their own, or we have special package pricing offers if you’d like to use them as a couple!
Also you can hire either of them as one-way or two-way trips. All our prices include floral garlands, interior decorations and ribbons matched to your colour scheme or theme, music for the journey, and a chauffer.
* Of course there’s another tradition that says the bride should put a coin in her shoe for good luck.
